I think that it's generally agreed upon that it's a disappointment - turned out not having very much story. The plot to moeblob ratio is quite lopsided in favor of the latter.

Each week I look forward the most to one show in particular. That would have to be AKB0048 or as I like to call it IdolHammer 48AKB. A lot of folks don't like RL AKB48, but this show is pretty damn neat. A pile of cute idols staging guerrela concerts and fighting against jackboots with beam sabers and their own mech corps. It gets a little gritty time to time and I love it for it. Image

Also, OTAKU MILITIA. Too cool. Yet there is also massive amounts of adorable. Especially Sonata, who is loev.

I assume with AKB48 in it, someone poured in a ton of money and it turned out decent or better, particularly with all the CG they've been using - I don't want to say anything about AKB0048 since I've not seen it myself, but I also heard it was fairly good.

Having watched the latest episode of Sakamichi no Apollon, as well as everything else of the week, I still must say that Sakamichi is the most enjoyable for me.

Tasogare Otome has been moving up - it's become quite splendid in fact, though I can't say I enjoy it more so than Sakamichi. On that note, I also become curious what to think of next season - hopefully, Kokoro Connect will be my top, though if not that, it will surely be Senjou no Horizon S2.

One of the biggest complaints is actually the CG dancing. The director and mech designer is none other than the guy behind Macross, Shōji Kawamori. Give it a try, Seven. Join us. Aeternum Solus.

For next season, my biggest do want is Yuru Yuri. I love the first season so much. I question the humanity of people who didn't like it. I neeeeeeeed it so badly. TOMATO.

I'm familiar that most people hate the CG - I personally don't think anything is wrong with using CG, rather it depends how it is used which should be critiqued accordingly.

As for Yuru Yuri, it's nice that you reminded me - that's definitely going to be a nice one. It's far greater beyond face value - the mood is so wonderful as well, very uplifting.

No nothing is wrong with cg, the issue of where it is used and how. The dancing idols seems doesn't mesh well with the rest of the show. More like you're getting a clip from someone's idol video game dance session.

Yuru Yuri... I like it as much as I do Ichigo Mashimaro. The mood is great and I love the characters so much. I'm really looking forward to Akarin's sister showing up. I also need more of little Kaede's goodness. I just can't wait.

There certainly is a lot to look forward to in general - though as for how many series will actually be good...

The most enjoyable anime of the season that I think is Aquarion Evol. I like the story line of the anime - especially the story of what happened before 12,000 years ago. Also, what I like about this anime is that each episode has action - keeping the story intense.

Aquarion EVOL definitely proved far greater than ever imaginable - packed with action, and all sorts of enjoyable bits. Most surprising is that each episode as of late has such an impact - heavy story, and a teary-eyed one at that. Not to mention, it's all so original.

It looks awesome as far as I see - amazing visuals, with a promising plot summary. Now it just needs actual success.
