Milky Holmes is a bunch of lolis solving mysteries.

Milky Holmes is to mystery what Saki is to mahjong.

If only I could find something the exact opposite of that, I've seen enough loli and nopan series.

I want more terrible endings like Texhnolyze - or serious business like Ghost in The Shell. There's literally nothing anywhere near a serious story like those these days save for Fate/Zero - which is expectedly phenomenal considering Ufotable's role, yet shockingly a whole universe superior to Fate/Stay Night, which is in deep need of a remake by Ufotable.

Actually, Un-Go was quite splendid in that respect as well. Sakamichi no Apollon is also hitting home - if only there were more however. Hope there's a new series along the same lines next season.

It's funny, I really have no personal taste, other than a good story, that is well told. I don't care if it is sad, or funny or tragic or realistic or pessimistic. I have to see the fingerprints of a group of storytellers that give a shit and a half about what they do. It's why the Monogatari series is near the top for me this decade, despite SHAFT being SHAFT, the assembled talents are swinging for the fences. Some hit home runs, some aim it just right, making the Shorty work harder, some balk, some walk, some punt, and some hunt and never get on base. I dropped Medeka Box because I couldn't see anyone giving a crap about it, it looks pale. I wanted to drop Jormungadr, but they are trying for the triple play, missing, but trying for it. Natsuiro is pure marketing, but in sunny little spots, those girls come alive. And in Acchi Kocchi, they are working hard to balance the gags with the kawaii. The rest is just genre and details.

I don't go specifically looking for certain types of stories, although if a story contains certain things, I'm less inclined to enjoy it - particularly when I've already had my fair share of it.

In either case, since starting this site, I've been watching everything ongoing - although when it comes to what I actually enjoyed to the point of remembrance, it's quite less than a handful. I've seen more than enough unremarkable affairs at this point to waste time with any further.

I think I love this show because I like second guessing, and third guessing and even pre-guessing the potential fanbase. The first episode told you exactly what you would be getting. This is not larger than life, but the verisimilitude of actual size. It's easy on the eyes, has some quality moments of character, and is entertaining.

I'm starting to dislike Hyouka more with each passing episode - certainly not awful, although I'm not one for moeblob, a main reason I didn't like K-ON.

Needs more of this:

Seven, the more I know about your likes and dislikes the big picture is emerging between us. What we enjoy together we enjoy the heck out of it. What we enjoy separately is so much yin and yang. The reasons you dislike show is sometimes the reasons I really dig them. It's a fun odd little world we have, and I happy that you are in it.

Hells Bells, I've had a shit-ton of wine tonite.

Contrasting differences are always great - if everyone enjoyed what I did, it'd be pretty dull.
