An elemental workshop.

An Initial D movie has been confirmed for premiere in the summer of 2014 – a film intended to serve as closure to the long-running shounen race manga series, and also to the five seasons of the animation.

After spanning over a decade, it was recently announced the Initial D manga series would come to an end soon, but rather than a silent conclusion, the series will go out with some noise – as will the anime. Although the manga kept running, the anime seemed dead after the fourth stage – but such a belief was proved incorrect when a fifth stage suddenly began last year, and as one can see, there’s seemingly still even more to the story before it can be said to have a proper ending.
