Misaka Goes Moe In Near-Rape Scenario

Jul 13, 2013 @ 8:53 CST

Pages from the latest manga volume of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun have Misaka placed in a near-rape situation with her unspoken love interest – forcing her into a state of moe as if that was the plan all along.

It’s a rather overdone turn of events. Something or another goes on which leads a male character to fall on top of a female, instigating the usual awkward and other feelings. In this case, Mikasa explodes into a state of cuteness, where she proceeds to prepare for either her funeral, or to have her 2-D girl innocence taken from her. Sadly for her, it doesn’t appear the other party is interested however.

From the novels it seems Touma thinks Misaka Mikoto is…

    “A reliable and cool guy”

    Er…

She is doomed, shame on her tsundereness or else thing may be different.

  • I have some questions here… I only wacthed the 2 index seasons and I never got to see this spin off with her, is it set before the events of index? is it somewhere in between? is index ever going to get a third season? do I still care if it does? lol

Its from the sports festival. If you really watched the second season you will recognize this scene.

      • lol, dont talk about things you dont know dude. Do you have any idea how long it has been since I watched that? please, there is no way I could remember this particular scene specialy when I thought this was from the spin off series, and I was aking the timeline of the series in general not this particular event. Thanks for not answering anything btw.

The Railgun series starts before Index, but eventually they take place at the same time, with some story arcs taking place in both, such as the Sisters Arc and the Festival arc. It is better than the Index series, so I recommend it.

Touma is the best male character I’ve seen

Now that you have seen Araragi, you may reevaluate your statement.

Araragi is just a talking punching bag. He was cool on Kizumonogatari and Kabuki but the rest he’s your Yuuji Everylead.

One of the worst actually. GENERIC SHOUNEN PROTAGONIST.

      • kawaidespair says:

^This. Although I like him when he’s not really fighting or involved in any situation that would activate his “shounen antics” persona.

      • Anonymous says:

Yeah…. so generic that there are review about his persona on light novel awards…

        • gargamesh says:

Tell that to numerous series with awards that are undeserving and generic (ex. SAO, Naruto, etc.)

          It doesn’t matter one bit.

Plus, perhaps he’s much more of a character in the LN, but as far as the anime goes, he’s nothing but a typical Shonen protag.

And on that note, if it’s only the anime, any justification from the LN means nothing.

^Deal with it. People likes him while you don’t, also, the reviews said Kirito is just a plot gamebreaker character, no praise for him from reviewers.

            • gargamesh says:

And that matters in what degree exactly?

In the anime so far, Touma is just your average shonen character with heavy plot armor and an overpowered hand.

You could say what makes Touma unique and the “best”, but I won’t expect something.

Heck I’ll rank Kirito higher than him because he could do more than one thing, compared to just having an overpowered hand of his to win unconditionally.

“compared to just having an overpowered hand of his to win unconditionally.”

It seems your view is pretty poor, Kirito is the one who pulls new things from him ass, Touma just keeps getting his ass kicked and send to the hospital.

This proves he’s a better character how?

Plus he gets sent to the hospital, AFTER WINNING.

Plus, it’s basically the same routine each time he is in an incident.

Again, I fail to see what makes Touma one of the “best” if you are that same anon.

          • Anonymous says:

Nope, he loses very hard a girl with a sword kicked his ass he didn’t get single scracth on him, his friend choped and the punched him and he never new what happened later.

You’re saying WINNING when he loses as much as he wins.
