“High School DxD” S2 Begins 2013

Mar 20, 2013 @ 6:24 CDT

High School DxD’s second season is anxiously promoting a 2013 premiere, and while the exact date is not clear, the series has, however, promised the first PV will arrive at ACE at the end of the month.

Either summer or autumn will be the debuting season in the end, considering there isn’t much choice to begin with – and a PV shouldn’t be necessary to have an expectation of what this “new” High School DxD will be like once it finally arrives. Inevitably, it will proudly deliver more of the first season’s excess chest emphasis action, with clothing that falls apart conveniently, and occasional moments of girls getting groped by the main character.

I would say “they should get this show over with”, but that would probably just mean that a third season would be closer. Also, If the new series is being called High School DxD New, then would a third season be calleed High School DxD Newer?

    • The “New” part meant exposing some Xenovia, Irina and possibly other new female breasts.

      THERE’S AN OPPAI LOVIN’ DRAGON
LIVING IN THE EDGE OF A CITY..

There is a what? And people say that they watch this show for the plot…

        • gargamesh says:

It’s “PLOT”, not plot they’re watching it for.

“The plot is better than Fate/Zero”, they said.

“This show will be worthless without the oppai”, I said.

To be honest compared to other harem/ecchi shows this one is actually kinda of good. I am in no way saying it’s actually “good” just next to the other crap this is better.

Aside from the confusing sequel title, it doesn’t take enough minutes that this new season will be full of ecchiness complemented by its decent plot. Will look forward to see where the PV goes, although I have enough expectations after seeing season one.

Is Ravel Phenex gonna be made a primary character at any point?

the story of highschool dxd is deep enough that if it wasn’t ecchi, it would be on the mainstream animes already like naruto, one piece, bleach, fairy tail, etc.

    • gargamesh says:

The problem is, that it is, the ecchi just ruins the anime in its inelegancy and excessiveness, also accounting the fact that the ecchi feels forced, as in, forcing breasts every time they get the chance, it just ruined the overall impact of the anime to a great extent.

On the other hand, those mainstream animes you mentioned, I’m sorry for this crude language, SUCK, so being on the same level as them isn’t really good. All are cliche and already fallen to overusing common tropes and being typical predictable shonen, although OP is still decent to say the least.

I hate to break it to you, but just because things are mainstream, doesn’t mean they’re the best.
