Originally scheduled for November, the release date for Hellsing Ultimate’s 10th and final episode is now the end of December – but it hasn’t totally forgotten us, a second PV is now available to ease the delay.
This video blends hints of the old PV with many a new scene – and it’s still as unprecedentedly enthralling as it was before, if not more. A roaring symphony certainly does the job – the music instills a sensation of immense powers clashing for domination at all costs. Colors pitched with the hue of night mingle with effects like dutch or vertically skewed angles, and these thrust force in one direction or another depending on a given character’s actions.
Even amidst the shadows, specific things seem to glimmer – knives and blades of many a kind circulate around the PV. Bullets are seen flying-by, literally, as if they were a swarm of insects – although indeed they are mere critters in comparison to the overreaching crimson synapses of power, the many instances of bustling flame, or the occasional intercession of frightening and massive supernatural demons.
And don’t forget to appreciate the best aspect of them all, the background narration which speaks with such a renowned eloquence, albeit a dark tone, making the fellow sound like the CEO of hell.
This will make a fine Christmas present for the sadist, even if belated by a day of wait.

Wow, almost forgot about this since it was taking so long, then again, the wait might as well be worth it since this clearly will be the most action-packed, blood pumping episode.

Hellsing was the series that brought my father to anime.
We watched the entire serie together. And his first reaction was: “Suck that twilight!”
Too bad is the last episode. I’ll miss the characters.

My father watched anime before I was born, but not as much anymore, and certainly not as much as I do right now, but still a respectable amount.
