A Haruhi artbook has been suddenly confirmed a release date of May 1st, 2013 – and adding more excitement, it’s debuting alongside a new novel from Tanigawa Nagaru, the author of the original Haruhi works.

The artbook is to feature illustrations from Noizi Ito, famed for her renowned efforts all across the Haruhi series – although aside from that detail and the release date, there’s no other revealed specifics. As for the literature to come with it, perhaps it may be a new light novel in the ongoing Haruhi series, or it could be a simple side-story of some kind. All in all, fans of obnoxious females have something to look forward to.
