An elemental workshop.

Slaughtering all hope of any sequel, Canaan’s official site has perished silently overnight – now redirecting to nowhere, and likely indicating that neither the studio, nor the publisher, has any further plans for the series.

Quite unfortunate as it may be, P.A. Works has been occupied with typical highschool series, and Type-Moon is restlessly coming up with as many different spin-offs of “Fate/whatever” as they possibly can. Not to mention, in this era of pantsu, the idea of girls and guns is already toppled with far more innovative ideas like girls who are guns – and Kadokawa is more accepting of these fresh, totally creative concepts, which will bring greater sales numbers.

damn it, there was so much room for a sequel, i’ll take girls and guns anyday than girls who are guns because frankly, it’s more action packed that way, this show was so bad-ass and one of those ones carrying the almost extinct gene of plot, and whose characters all have relevance to the story rather than fanservice.

I thought that this series wasn’t supposed to be all that great.

Why are companies ignoring good shows like this. Girls with guns are amazing any time of the day, we could all use another Black Lagoon like anime.

I thought Hidan no Aria was decent even though it was overflowed with loli fanservice and conventionnal romcom antics. And the “girls with guns” shows done by Bee Train were much better as well.

Canaan was a good show, but I seriously don’t see a reason to drag it back into the ring and make a sequel. It ended just fine, no need to keep making sequels just for the sake of it.

I’d like to see a sequel of this, though they did end this quite well
