As Angel Beats! knocks on heaven’s door in Dengeki G’s release of December 2012, it certainly seems that there’s quite a bit of knocking to be done indeed as the manga goes into a few gristly, red stained scenes.
If manga were not print in grayscale, a few of these pages would be overwhelmingly drenched in crimson, and practically dripping with red. As Yurippe approaches Tenshi, the cute character internally collides with dreams and memories alike – momentarily wakening to a blast of sadistic torment. Although in typical Angel Beats! fashion, the brutality is followed with an abundance of moe – a development which not even technology of present or future could have foreseen, the immense, scale-shattering cuteness of Yusa in twintails.

definitely love this manga, although this creates a huge hole in the series, as said before for those who watched, kanade was the one Otanashi’s heart was given to, so in theory, otonashi should have been in the afterlife before kanade, thereby the whole premise to begin with as a story before otonashi arrived, only theory i can think of in this is that people have different intervals in which before they enter the afterlife, but nonetheless, this is a great series which explores the backgrounds of those who didn’t get a chance to their character fleshed out in the anime
