Kantoku and SHAFT’s collaborative work of ambiguity, Magical Suite Prism Nana, has received a second completely fresh PV – this one being distinctly darker, and spanning a shorter length of merely half a minute.
On a general level, this clip provides us with more of the previously offered moe music, storybook reminiscent scenery, with cute bishoujos to make it all something marketable and attractive to today’s discerning otaku. Now of course, being a SHAFT work, it’s not that simple – the reality is that this video is much darker literally than the previous few released. The palette of hues employed transgresses into the darker side of the spectrum quite frequently – and this obviously has its own reasoning.
None can know the explicit meaning behind it until the series arrives, if even then – although we can now still analyze what we can see, and it looks that the girls, oddly enough, are assembling a rocket amidst a starry night.
Evoking some chills, the first sighting of the rocket is followed with some disconcerting signage – in particular “Leaphere”. Although even more troubling than that is to see flames bursting from the flank of the rocket – not to mention, the loli smashing at the rocket’s control panel in fierce anger. When a loli is in distress, then surely there is a severe and most serious problem.
None need resort to tears however, sparkly moe magic seems to save the day in this 30 second strip of propaganda as the cute heroine’s visage, whilst transformed into her extra-sexy bishoujo variant, is the final frame we see.
To say the least, this should be looking quite relevant to one’s fetishes if nothing else.

now this is confirmed, sci-fi-moe with plot and action, now i’m really curious to know what the story of this is, like how will they even get the moe-wer in the first place, or what’s the meaning of the loli-crying in the pv, i have a feeling this will not be the light hearted series i’m expecting, and instead shaft will provide us with some sort of mindfuck again

That should be expected.
