Newtype’s Madoka special edition of December 2012, an issue specially in commemoration of the film debut, comes with much more than background close-ups – it goes rather in-depth on the mahou shoujos in general.
As a whole, the Madoka Magica movie is vividly introduced within this particular release of Newtype – and then it’s truly intriguing how different aspects of the film are further examined on an individual basis. It should be quite the contrary, yet it’s actually shocking for a magazine to carry any level of meaningful analysis. Newtype, however, even goes so far as to show the links between the movie characters – as well as the cast of the side-story manga series.

Must have that new model sheet of Mami….seriously hope for more especially Sayaka and Kyouko XP
Never bought a Newtype since I live in Canada, but I have seen some in the one anime store I’ve ever found before so I might need to pick this one up.
