Otaku Buys 40 Copies Of Generic Eroge

An otaku has purchased 40 copies of an eroge which has just debuted no more than 24 hours ago – Koi iro Marriage, conventional harem with the spin of “love and marriage”, which in other words means “generic”.

When such ridiculous purchasing is seen for a more popular or established series, such as Madoka Magica, it is still definitely over the top, needless, and plain insane unless the fellow intends to sell a few pieces of their collection in the future – although when seeing it for a two-bit erotic game with a premise found in every other title of its category, this seems like some kind of mental illness.

Not that it’s a surprise, although Koi iro Marriage doesn’t summarize too interestingly:

After the protagonist works in his family’s inn, he was promised a bride. He originally thought it was a joke but when a black-haired girl turned up at his door, he realized that he was told the truth. However, even though she’s cute,the protagonist doesn’t want to be forced into a marriage and wants to experience proper love. Basically, they’re going to try to experience love and marriage.

There’s no apparent reason why anyone would purchase 40 copies of a not so spectacular, just released, subpar ero-game – although sure enough, someone has. Hundreds of USD, perhaps even a thousand or two, are now back into the economy thanks to a single otaku.
