“Guilty Crown” Inori In Pink Mizugi

Oct 16, 2012 @ 10:38 CDT

A “Beach Queen” figure of Guilty Crown’s Inori has been confirmed – a fitting item of merchandise for the series as both are known for their lack of quality and abundance of defects, a perfect pairing indeed.

Figures of the “Beach Queen” line are recognized for having an overall average sculpt – with the occasional few that prove quite enticing. Although even then, the material remains messily assembled, and the price is simply stepping the lines of justification – especially for those outside of the motherland, thereby forced to pay all costs of import.

Whilst one would normally label that as simply “less than acceptable” and move on, the figure certainly still is unacceptable – yet it would be a waste to merely overlook it without taking the opportunity to ridicule the world renowned catastrophe known as “Guilty Crown”.

With this pink-haired heroine of the series being no more than a kicked around object the entire 22 episode span, it’s difficult to see why she would be deserving much of anything – or why any would even admire her for a reason beyond appearance. Yet regardless, she remains a trashy character – and it’s almost reassuring to see that even in PVC plastic, she cannot escape the reality of her character.

More so irritating, it’s incomprehensible why there’s yet to be any fine figures for the sole two redeeming factors of Guilty Crown – the girl of nekomimi, and the bishoujo in wheelchair.

Worthless nitpicking, but Guilty Crown was only 22 episodes.

Also, I do believe it would be possible for Tsugumi to get a Beach Queen figure, but I think the idiots making these would choose the Mana, the, thankfully, only character to be worse than Inori.

Thats a bit expensive for a figurine. Though the craftmanship is quite good, judging from the pictures.

On a general scale, Beach Queens are the cheapest figures there are – however, the pictures are deceiving. If you’ve ever had a Beach Queen figure, you’d know the quality is horrible and they’re a tiny 1/10 scale.

It doesn’t help either that they use the same generic pseudo-sand base for every figure.

although for me the craftsmanship is no where good, look at that face, and those hands

Inori gets really good figures. I don’t like her in the slightest but all the figures she’s received have been very good quality.

  • The only reason i saw GC to the end was because Inori was hot. lol. The figure is so so- very generic. seen many better ones.

My God, even in figure form, Inori looks so lifeless

Her eyes look dead. Not interested.
