While the series has been delivering sparkly moe magic for months, only now does the first Blu-ray of ongoing rainbow action series, Smile Precure!, finally show itself – vivacious, pink, frilly, and adorable.
Perhaps the single respect which one could say this illustration is unfitting is in how it seems to lack a complete red to violet spectrum of cute female characters beaming with more intensity than the sun – as is often the case with any given episode of Smile Precure. Instead, the cover artwork has but a sole mahou shoujo of brilliant pink – boasted alongside her semi-white alien companion of soft pink undertones.
Even missing the extra vigor however, the optical media casing certainly still emanates off an impression of the series which is very much valid. Any with a deep liking for lighthearted children’s justice series, as well as those with a creepy obsession for little girls in fanciful outfits alike, will definitely take interest in this cover art – meaning it has indeed successfully managed to appeal to its core audience.
Additionally, aside from the aforementioned fact that it’s not maximizing its potential of moe, it is still of course visibly a rather relevant and admirable artwork – for a various few reasons, and still spotlights the heroine of the series. If there’s anything to question, it would be merely whom the next several volumes will feature on their covers.
For novelty’s sake, hopefully there’s an increase in the glitter as the volume numbers rise.

No, the PreCure series is as earnest a mahou shoujo series as there can be.
It’s just pure magical girl action with justice and all that.
