An elemental workshop.

Made available on the official site, Type-Moon has made an early release of the opening sequence, visual and sound alike, to be found on the Blu-ray of their “Type-Moon Fes.” celebratory 10th anniversary event.

With marvelous music, and stunning sights, the video is definitely an undeniably solid entry passage into Type-Moon’s anniversary – it does well to encompass one within a summary of their achievements, whilst the sheer quality of opening video itself seems as if it were commemorating the consistent creative force and transcendental production output of the circle.

Whilst watching the clip, one is taken through a tour of famous lineage – the scenes and characters from the legendary Tsukihime visual novel incite all manner of nostalgia, only for the follow-up of Fate characters to incite a few tear-drops of pleasant reminiscence. Kara no Kyoukai’s presence is certainly most welcomed as well – and it should be said now, do notice the obvious trend, Type-Moon releases nothing less than innovative and revolutionary.

Incidentally, those two words hardly describe Fate/Zero, which is the sort of second-to-last feature of this opening sequence video – and then, as a homely closing, we’re met with colorful moments from Carnival Phantasm, and a few may even be joyed to see Canaan is not forgotten either.

And still managing yet another hat-trick of awe, Type-Moon has gone to show that a Blu-ray can still be worth purchasing for reasons other than appeasing lustful desires for uncensored oppai.
