Relaxed “Fate” Series Saber In Yukata

Oct 11, 2012 @ 14:42 CDT

A figure of the Fate series’ bishoujo warrior, Saber, is coming soon which features this former ruler, and current servant, sporting a cute yukata – a look definitely more fitting for her than hefty battle garbs.

Straight to the point, the figure is looking truly lavishing – the lines very definitively outline the feminine areas of her physique in a manner most elegant. Certain areas, such as along the spine, consist of a more slender arrangement of minimal line, with long and expansive dips of curvature – whilst other regions, such as the visage or feet, boast a ballet of intricately intermixed dashes, swivels, and depressions.

If the sculptor can capture what the artist of this sketch has managed to, this will certainly be a stunning piece of PVC.

The heavier lines, which are darker and thicker, amount to more steep or sudden inclinations of shape – those are essentially the points which will correlate to sharper cylindrical curve, like the calves. On the other hand, one can note that lines of greater delicacy grace regions with a similarly less sudden contour – such as the back, as aforementioned. This serves to be an exceptional example of how line can communicate direction – and with a subject matter as splendid as Saber no less.

Of course, considering the final product, it also serves to be quite spectacular in offering what looks to be a higher quality take on a relaxed Saber – in place of the usual attack pose, armor, and weapon.
