Ore no Imouto is bringing out a pair of provocative pillows for each of its leading females – boasting a nearly-nude imouto, alongside a mahou shoujo costume clad Kuroneko who looks ready to lose her innocence.
Starting with the lesser, seen above, it would normally be a shock to see the little sister in such an illicit state – yet as of late, that has become quite a common sight for better or worse. Regardless if one views this as favorable or not, it’s not necessarily as appealing as could be – as mentioned with past items of merchandise, the waist seems slightly too wide, and the exposed area of upper body looks to be missing necessary value for depth.
The former concern is variable on preference for the most part, some may find her waist just right despite it looking to diverge slightly from her original design – she is a growing little imouto after all. The latter issue however remains – if her waist is to slightly develop, then this variant of imouto should remain consistent with other recent imagery and merchandise and bestow her with a more defined chest. She needn’t be busty or have balloons from her upper body – yet even if her oppai were flat, they would still have shadow surrounding the heart and moving upward.
Onto the superior loli, this is perhaps a showcase of Kuroneko in her finest grace – considering that she’s a connoisseur of the second dimension, there could be no ultimate form for her but that of a magical girl. Furthermore, it just so happens that she’s incredibly adorable in this case, hair beautifully transitioning from violet to complementary gold – all the while, ensemble serving to be delectable and revealing without entirely tossing away modesty or elegance.
When it comes down to it, the imouto pillow is amusing – yet the Kuroneko is the true treat of satisfaction, as usual.

A-1 Pictures is already trying to get more viewers by sellin sex

Baka tsundere’s one is “banal” and Kuroneko’s is so lovable. Pretty good rainbow effect on the hair. But it’s too bad they just do a zoom on the ura side.

Making a good series suck balls eh?
Oct 9, 2012 @ 16:53 CDT
A-1: I know, let’s ruin this perfectly good series, that way, we will be the number one production studio!
Oct 9, 2012 @ 18:06 CDT
So it begins…
THE GREAT SHITSTORM OF OUR TIME
Oct 9, 2012 @ 18:17 CDT
it has already begun since Guilty Crown
Oct 9, 2012 @ 18:28 CDT
The Earth is a sphere after all – it has been traveling around and came back with Sword Art Online.
Oct 9, 2012 @ 22:17 CDT
where the fuck can i buy this?
Oct 9, 2012 @ 22:27 CDT
You can’t.
Ahahahahahahaha.
You would probably want to check eBay in 2-3 months – they might have it.
Oct 10, 2012 @ 7:40 CDT
I don’t get all the A-1 hate in this blog. They made one show you don’t like, so they’re bound to make shitty shows from now on?
“A-1: I know, let’s ruin this perfectly good series, that way, we will be the number one production studio!”
You’re blaming the studio for something they likely have no control over. Now that’s just mean.

If you want to have a proper discussion on A-1 Pictures, then register an account, and make a forum thread on one – otherwise, you’re just being assumptive by telling people what they like or don’t like.
Oct 10, 2012 @ 9:03 CDT
well, it’s okay if it was just one, but their quality metric is recently dropping, have you seen the pv’s of robotic’s notes? and magi is fine and all, but there were many instances in which animation was lacking, Operation Vivid Red is turning out to be Vividly boring, and with what they have made with SAO, a churning mix of horrible and generic, i hate to see happen to a perfectly good series such as this,
Oct 10, 2012 @ 9:15 CDT
Evidently, this fellow isn’t even assumptive, but also blind to his surroundings – like you mention, anyone who has been keeping up with A-1 Pictures can notice the consistent flaws. I second that while Magi had enough to make up for it, the series did heavily lack in many areas – and Operation Vivid Red isn’t even worth recognizing, let alone Sword Art Online.

Well, firstly, Robotics;Notes is by I.G. Secondly, I don’t think it’s reasonable to judge an anime’s quality just based on some pvs, but if that’s how you do it then so be it.
@Seven: No, I don’t want to discuss about A-1. And I don’t think I’m telling anyone what they like or don’t like? All I originally want to know was why people was so quick to think A-1 would ruin the anime when there’s hardly anything to judge at all at this stage except for the sole name of the studio itself. (Actually, just based on that pv and the announcement of main staff returning, it’s baffling anyone would think the 2nd season would be anything different fron the 1st).
I kinda get the idea now though, based on gargamesh’s reply, so even though I wholeheartedly disagree, I’ll just shut up for now.

“I don’t get all the A-1 hate in this blog. They made one show you don’t like, so they’re bound to make shitty shows from now on?”
The implication I get from when you mention there being hate, and then asking a question, is that the question is rhetoric. But since you’ve replied, let’s just forget that then.
“the 2nd season would be anything different fron the 1st”
I don’t know about others, but I disagree with you not necessarily for anything A-1 Pictures related, but because the recent merchandise and marketing has varied from season one – and the source material also transitions over quite significantly.

“Well, firstly, Robotics;Notes is by I.G.”
My bad, well, it was because their transition of the main character was so similar to A-1′s Taneshima Poplar of Working that i thought so
“Secondly, I don’t think it’s reasonable to judge an anime’s quality just based on some pvs, but if that’s how you do it then so be it. ”
Because a pv does not give you a look at the anime and what to expect from it , right

“My bad, well, it was because their transition of the main character was so similar to A-1′s Taneshima Poplar of Working that i thought so”
Incidentally, that says something about Production IG’s current state.
“Because a pv does not give you a look at the anime and what to expect from it , right”
They definitely just make those for fun.
Oct 10, 2012 @ 9:04 CDT
dude they get paid to make entertaining shows so of course we wont like it when they make absolute shit
Oct 10, 2012 @ 9:10 CDT
This Guy
Oct 10, 2012 @ 9:33 CDT
At least it’s entertaining to make fun of their failures.
Oct 10, 2012 @ 8:49 CDT
I may be rooting for the imouto…but admittedly, the Kuroneko cover is vastly superior.
Oct 10, 2012 @ 8:56 CDT
admittedly, yes kirino’s cover is just bland
Oct 10, 2012 @ 9:36 CDT
The Kuroneko cover is quite grand in general – multicolored hair is rarely ever done this well, and while I feel the pose is too blatant, making her look like a strip club asset of some sort, the outfit is certainly captivating, among other things.
