Loli decorated phone cards are quite popular in Japan amongst the ero-gaming audience – and an eroge renowned for its vibrance, Irotoridori No Hikari, has a few of its own, each print with the cute and cuddly heroine.
One must almost be marveled by how a sight so moe can be made so ero-suggestive as well – the fashion in which Irotoridori’s heroine is showcased loses natural human attributes in that it’s, indeed, simply too cute. Now of course, that means more beyond face value – the excessive blushing, frail physique, and overly gentle femininity, among other facets, are much too pressing of a certain look. And with the addition of delicate pastel colors – this appears practically supernatural.
There’s doubtful to be a female this fragile. Even considering that the girl is a loli character, she lacks volume and definition – which is the reason responsible for why she seems as if a single touch would break her in half. Of course, this isn’t anything to despise – it’s merely a very niche style of art.
Outlines have glowing edges, as one can see particularly well around her legs and hair – and this definitely further drives the fact that she looks otherworldly. Not to mention, rather than a standard recession towards black, the shadow is composed of other hues instead – and ones which while darker, are still quite energetic, and this is best noticed within the flowing hair.
That all said however, it shouldn’t be surprising that the ideal girl is illusory.
