In conjunction with Dengeki Daioh, P.A. Works has revealed a few visuals of an upcoming original animation work – which contrary to what one would like to feel, don’t actually look too impressive unfortunately.
The visuals are perhaps slightly above average – they severely lack any individualistic style aspects to set them apart from being typical, the characters as seen in the image of the open sky for instance look almost reminiscent to Hyouka’s cast in terms of physical proportions, as well as bodily gestures and mannerisms, and that in fact is the major issue here. Whilst one can see that there’s a higher quality in the overall exhibit which is this key visual illustration, the actual subject matter being shown is not very riveting.
An anime with involvement from Dengeki, with a key visual featuring two characters standing by the shore – under that description, one could mistake it for the other upcoming series with the tentacle craw wrath of Dengeki, “Operation Vivid Red” as it is so-called.
There’s not enough to make any definitive statements on just what this series amounts to – however, one can say that based on this single key visual and character designs, this project seems heavily lacking of personality, absent of reason to be excited unless one has a special fetish in their heart for P.A. Works.
No other details are currently available for this series – yet in comparison to the other work with Dengeki involvement to soon come, one can expect P.A. Works, as per their previous achievements, will release something respectable in concept even if not fully agreeable or exceptional.

The character designs look nice :)
The ocean image at the top seems well-done to me.

I liked those navy outfits. Given it’s produced by Dengeki, I don’t expect it to be more than decent.

Please be written by Mari Okada!!!

It is gonna be written by Mari Okada.

Oh, good then… It seems PA Works love Okada, probably because many of their series(slice of life ones) are mostly written by Okada…

The one problem with Buriki is that a lot of his male characters look similar and sometimes feminine. Like this new guy, he’s Niwa Makoto after getting some cosmetic beauty treatment and going for a joyous trip to the salon to get his hair done.

That basically summarizes it – although the setting is not particularly riveting either, nor the fashion, nor the female, none of it.

That firs image really makes me want to watch this show. Also i agree with what Drokingtong just said, that guy does look feminine, in my eyes he is a girl wearing a male uniform.

Unfortunately, for PA Works, “Original” means “a whole lot of the same” to them. I’m gonna set my expectations low after that lesson of Tari Tari – went is expecting “original”…was disappointed.

Dengeki isn’t any good either – failwhale coming.

This upcoming anime is impressive. i cannot wait to see this. PA Works is doing a great job to develop good anime. Artworks is impressive too.

“This upcoming anime is impressive”
Based on what?
“PA Works is doing a great job to develop good anime”
That’s coming from the guy who likes Sword Art Online “because they’re getting married!!!”
“Artworks is impressive too.”
No.

You think everyone will hate this anime. But from the artwork, people who are viewing this page may like it and there are some who will not like it.
As for sword art online, same thing – some will like it, some will not like it. It depends on the person if there own interest.
If there was a preview, then I based it on my opinion, however, the artwork looks amazing to me. It may look horrible to you, not to everyone though.

“You think everyone will hate this anime”
It’s really convenient to tell people what they think so you can counter that because you don’t have a basis against their actual statement.
Please come back when you can comprehend what people are telling you.
A single artwork has been released, now you’re dubbing this anime as impressive – and when asked why, you start making some drivel explanation about opinion.

It hasn’t even aired yet, much less get a preview .

Still waiting for that 26-episode Angel Beats remake…
Sep 26, 2012 @ 18:54 CDT
But that would be a good idea, we don’t want any of those around here.
