Accel World simply would not be itself if it were absent of continued self-degradation – a Banpresto 1kuji prize figure of the series’ heroine exhibits her entire backside, and no, it’s not intended to be an ero-figure.
Whilst this is merely a typical and half-baked figure rewarded to winners of a a chump lottery, it’s already this indecent and revealing – imagine if it were actually intended to be provocative, it wouldn’t even arrive with any clothing. On another note however, this is actually quite fitting, a cheap and sleazy showcase of a character with a personality and appearance no different.

Somehow I find this a lot less worse than just about every dakimakura out there. I guess you can always look at it as a swimsuit of somesort because they need umbrellas underwater

Ironically, the Accel World anime has actually gotten a lot better. Not good enough to warrent droppers picking it up again presay, but it has made some improvements.
The latest fight scenes have been superbly animated, featuring fluid and colorful animation (Which is ALOT more than I can say about SAO). The fights themselves are actually exciting too, as the outcome is not instantly predictable.
The characters have shown notable growth. Porky-kun went from a fat slob alien stupid crying whinning loser does nothing about people bullying him to a fat slob alien loser who can stand up for himself and will stare down someone punching him in the face without wavering. Even the annoying side character girl managed to show some thought in her previously inexplicable actions and redeem herself.
tl;dr plot and characters still shit(I liked him, but I doubt too many others did XD), but good fights and exceeded expectations.
