Madoka Magica’s film marketing efforts continue with the release of a new movie poster – notable for its altered style of art, a less intense and under-refined portrayal which concentrates on a watered down moe look.
To be direct, this mode of illustration appears entirely unfitting – the normally seen Madoka Magica aesthetics have a distinctly noticed essence of intricacy to them, making them work with the dark atmosphere and elaborate story, yet these seem far too lacking all-around, save for the overcasting shadow. However, it wouldn’t be over the top to think that the artist already accounted for as much – and this is purposefully intended to be misleading into the tale of Madoka.

That poster is telling me “steal me, take me to your room and put me up in a wall”
