Following up on the yuri inclined artwork of yesterday, it seems these Madoka Magica promotional illustrations have become a daily affair – this latest frame featuring the yellow mahou shoujo losing her sanity.
It’s a scene memorable from a certain episode of the series – we’re shown some examples of Homura’s time-traveling escapades, one of which happened to result in murderous intent enveloping the crew of friends. In a stressed panic, the oppai packing mahou shoujo of golden yellow signature hue, Mami, goes mad for a moment – and subsequently blasts a few of her friends with a high caliber firearm like a ruthless thug.
Amusing imagery aside, apparently SHAFT is hoping to advertising this coming film heavily despite it merely being an abridged mush of what the TV series offered – there’s little wrong with that, rather, curiosity is on if they’re intending to mainly target existing fans of the series, or hoping to seduce newcomers instead. These frames are to be released on a daily basis for about a period of two weeks – and it’s debatable whether the appeal comes foremost towards returning mahjou shoujo admirers, or those without a fetish for such established as of yet.
Regardless of that matter however, it’s definitely quite certain that the film will still vacuum up not merely yen, but a variety of currency from all over the world – especially considering it’s to premiere in nine or so assorted countries, Japan included.
That all said, one shouldn’t forget two more films are to come after this first – both of which will actually contain original content beyond what has already been seen. And once the route to film number two opens, the series’ marketing efforts are sure to be essentially riot instigating with each release.

“Mami, put the gun down!”
That’s all I think up as a joke for this, but it reminds me that I need to finish watching Madoka.
