An elemental workshop.

For whatever reason, another Hayate no Gotoku clip has started filling airspace – and meeting expectation, it merely manages to reaffirm the stance that the series will likely not even be worth watching at all.

A witty comedy filled slice of life seems to now be merely one of those harem series filled with indecisive and weak characters who can’t express any of their feelings properly – and subsequently allow others to trample all over their feelings, only to become teary-eyed about it later in hopes of a typical “happy ending”.

The video initiates with a degraded loli character whining about various superficial subjects – and so does it end, yet incidentally, that’s also what it carries all throughout. This entire CM is just the blonde-haired loli complaining – with a few intercessions of “our writers couldn’t think of anything else to put here” bishoujo moments, followed by “twintails are always popular” additional loli emphasis.

In the best case scenario, this series will air discreetly and none will bother sharing it on the net – thereby allowing for it to quickly and silently pass over without too much a commotion of disappointment caused.

Either way however, this still seems to be an inevitable tragedy soon coming our way.

They shouldn’t even call this as Hayate no Gotoku…
It looks like some Chinese ripoff:(

the title couldn’t be any less accurate, we have no choice BUT to take our eyes off it

I don’t understand how a company that animated Kaminomi could fuck Hayate no Gotoku this badly.

    • Anonymous says:

Kaminomi didn’t have great animation either… but was better than this ugly shit.

I still have memories of Ergo Proxy.

Oh Manglobe, how you have fallen. T.T

Oh, another thing: Did you not see the trailer of the new Jojo? xD

    • Seven says:

I wasn’t sure if they made it intentionally lacking or it was part of the design.

Well, the new JoJo can still be good, the design is interesting… but maybe it’s intentionally like that, I’m not too impressed if we compare it to the Phantom Blood movie, which is already 5 years old, but 1) that’s a movie 2) just like I said about HxH, generally newer shounen anime somehow looks more ‘childish’, at least in my opinion… but all in all I have high expectations of JoJo, and I don’t think that the trailer itself is bad + the voice acting seems good.

I don’t think you’re wrong – that’s one reason I’ve not belittled the JoJo PV, as the animation looks intentionally made as it is for sake of style.

  • misao93 says:

Unless one will enjoy it for its remedial comedy or being a fan of Hayate, I’m sure nobody will care about this new series at all.

    • Seven says:

It already feels like no one cares – except for the occasional, “this is going to be terrible!”.
