It may have nothing to its name, although it still needs to sell – the fourth volume of Sankarea’s optical media not only comes uncensored, although it also comes edited specifically to show more female fanfare.
Besides the stripping of censorship utilities, clothes and towels were also stripped – revisions were made with bodily exposure in mind, extracting even elements of scenery if that’s what it takes to reveal more skin. Whilst quite petty, at least it is a somewhat rewarding venture as one is now able to see the slender shape of the series’ cute little sister character – a sight quite welcome always.

+1 for what he said. Heard in the recent chapter that there’s something that makes Rea special….effing bs but expected. Would have watched the anime in full instead of only viewing the ecchi scenes if they actually let Rea die in the manga and MC had to move on to plowing his cousin.

yeah ecchi sells

I loved the anime, but sadly it was too short, it sux that nowadays almost every anime is 13 eps, and we only get an S2 from really popular series, year(s) later, if the BD’s sell enough…

I didn’t like it – the story was botched.

Agreed they totally screw up the whole storyline, the anime is doomed. If the 2S were to be made, I guess it will just be for fan service….D:

There wasn’t much story to begin with. I was suprised when it got greenlit for an adaptation with only 20+ chapters of manga to work with, but at least they took some bold risks in terms of visuals and presentation unlike a certain art online series *cough cough*. I mean, you would think that with a name like “sword” art online, they’d take liberties with actual sword designs. They should have went apeshit with their swords, really God Eater Burst the thing up.

Seriously – you would expect monsters getting torn up to pieces by means of all sorts of gruesome knives and blades.
But to anticipate such a thing from a series based on an RPG? That’s just ridiculous.
