Character profile imagery of Psycho-Pass’ assorted second dimensional cast has become available – confirming another new character, and giving those already established a more comprehensive visual overview.
Even with some additional spotlight, a few of these characters, or rather most, don’t deliver any more than they usually do – however, there is two specific individuals of this pack who are worth recognition. Before getting to the new fellow, the heroine of this series is quite intriguing – and not merely as she’s female and attractive. The manner in which she grasps her gun, as seen in this specific instance, is not the way which a more seasoned individual would grasp their gun.
Her hand reaches over to the top of the firearm – and with its size and shape, that’s not a particularly tactical means of equipping it as it would slow or hinder its usage. Combined with her expression of anxiety, one could assume she’s somewhat nervous, apprehensive, or at unease – indicating that she’s a novice in her occupation, further leading one to wonder what led her to such a trade to begin with.
As for the new character, seen in the final image below, he seems to be an investigator of some sort – which one would presume by nature would set him on the protagonist side of justice, although his scruffy appearance actually leads one to question his true role. He has a suspicious appearance, and arrives after the antagonist – both implying that he’s perhaps an evildoer himself.
In either case, the complexity circle surrounding the characters of Psycho-Pass is certainly building well for the early phases – and prior to release at that.

Since I loved Phantom, I hope the story will be good, if nothing else.

As long as Production IG doesn’t touch it.
