A slight visual sample of Muv-Luv’s upcoming 12th round seems to show the defense of mankind to be withered, beat, and overrun in that it looks the enemy is merely running rampant at this point – destroying all freely.
These three stills showcase a whole disturbing incident – cringe inducing creatures raid a militia base, reaping devastation and inciting fear as they pour forward systematically, then upon encountering a feeble human sitting helpless, they likely obliterate him. As there’s hardly a glimpse of any human lifeforms within these three frames, save for an expendable character, it certainly feels as if humanity has thrown in the towel.
