None should need any pre-release imagery to know that whatever subsequent episode of Nakaimo awaits, it’s something horribly bland, with no hope of going anywhere – yet even the images reveal this as well.
These frames from the soon to air 10th episode of Nakaimo are just truly ridiculous in that they’re literally identical to any given episode prior in terms of events and undertakings – some expendable girl with no uniquely defining traits gets the spotlight whilst all the others whine about their superficial issues, magically leading to a scene where another girl throws herself on top of the strawman protagonist. And one bathing scene intercession later, the episode ends.
In fact, the females are wearing outfits they’ve already worn before as well – as if the studio didn’t want to incur costs by having the artists draw anything more than the prevalent pseudo-elegant provocative ensemble, the heavily abused and unoriginal seifuku, and the seemingly ever-necessary element of mizugi, as well as its school counterpart.
Perhaps the most noteworthy detail of the episode is that the series seems to have decided on censorship by means of making the entire scene white and opaque – thereby keeping the episode dry enough for television, whilst simultaneously managing to contribute to the established aspect of below subpar artwork for which the series is known.
Ultimately, one can indeed see that little is required to realize that whenever an episode of Nakaimo is set to premiere, it’s bound to be a wasteful experience.
