Even with another episode PV, the series still seems no better – the predominance of Sword Art Online’s upcoming 11th episode is spent on withered antics of romance, with a sudden shift of plot last minute.
It seems that neither the fact that the series enters its 11th episode, essentially the mid-point mark of the series, nor that the leading male and female have gotten “married”, have done anything to make this series, which is supposedly geared around the world of a role-playing game, actually dive into the action and activities of a role-playing game. As one can see within the PV, the “marriage” did nothing to eradicate the washed out angle of love.
Since it seemingly had no worthwhile aftereffect, one is left to wonder what the purpose of that development was whatsoever – although it’s likely a lost to ponder too heavily as there’s little within Sword Art Online that truly has any substantial meaning to begin with.
Nonetheless, a random intercession to a generically designed female character appears to be a turning point in the episode as some expendable “nobody” class characters are apparently targeted by a pack of plot convenient antagonists who the protagonist will likely eliminate in full through no more than one still frame – marking the end of one more worthless venture.
And thus, it seems Sword Art Online is set to deliver an 11th exemplary instance of awful soon enough.

Perhaps a loli can save this show?
Sep 12, 2012 @ 9:02 CDT
No.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 5:58 CDT
Regressing back to side-story and more teenage romance, it seems.
According to the episode guide, this series spends 14 episodes for the first arc, and half of them are for the side-stories.

It’s amazing to see Kirito And Asuna together. And aside from that to the blue hair girl? Is that Sachi?!?!?
“one is left to wonder what the purpose of that development was whatsoever”
To see romance, perhaps action will come later. It’s only the beginning.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 6:37 CDT
Only beginning of what? This is episode 11. The romance was already obvious long ago.
“It’s amazing to see Kirito And Asuna together.”
Because they weren’t already together?
“Is that Sachi?!?!?”
It’s just a generic character design, don’t worry.

Thats their so-called “daughter” that they will find in the forest. After 30 days in the episode but around 14 mins in real life (and by that i mean you watching the episode)
Sep 28, 2012 @ 15:08 CDT
At what point in real life, or the episode, will I find the relevance of any of this to the main story? Assuming that still exists here somewhere.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 6:59 CDT
“To see romance, perhaps action will come later. It’s only the beginning.”
since when did action come? and only the beginning? everybody already saw this coming with the messed up side stories with no coherent meaning…

Is this an online dating-game show? because i was pretty sure that this was based on an RPG and those who get married in such things are considered failures in both relationships and life
Sep 12, 2012 @ 7:07 CDT
In other words, Sword Art Online a.k.a Get Laid Online.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 7:48 CDT
It’s an online dating site of the future.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 8:10 CDT
What an innovation in technology!
Sep 12, 2012 @ 9:09 CDT
stop it, guys… they’re gonna die in a few episodes anyway…
Sep 12, 2012 @ 9:20 CDT
and some plot hole comes in and makes them the exception of die here, die in the real and keep them alive in reality
Sep 12, 2012 @ 16:05 CDT
Plothole to the rescue..
Sep 12, 2012 @ 9:53 CDT
Please, can one of these two just die already… ah well.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 10:01 CDT
Cancel the series.

Impossibru! The LNs are selling like hot cakes because of the anime. At this rate, I’m sad (or rather, happy as a LN reader) that GGO and Mother’s Rosario has a good chance of coming out as a Second Season. With a far, far more tightly focused plot.
I’m waiting for your take on the Second half of SAO. Scratch that. I really wonder what you’d be making of the other three SAO Arcs that aren’t going to be animated.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 13:46 CDT
How about turning Sword Art Online into a typical action shounen sets in school so things gets worse as the story progresses.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 16:02 CDT
They already get worse as the episodes progress – the story isn’t progressing anywhere.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 14:06 CDT
This looks cute…. but I feel stupid if I was soppost to like it. I guess.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 16:02 CDT
Looks like garbage.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 14:44 CDT
If I was somehow stuck in Sword Art Online (the game), I would probably kill myself because of how boring and dull every other single character in this mind-numbing and sleep-inducing this useless drivel of a series is.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 16:02 CDT
That’s probably how thousands of people died in the first month after they were trapped in the game.
Sep 12, 2012 @ 20:58 CDT
Somewhere in the world, the writer felt…BUUURN!
Sep 13, 2012 @ 1:24 CDT
I was under the impression that this was a MMORPG not a dating sim..oh well….
Sep 13, 2012 @ 7:37 CDT
but its revolutionary as it combines generic and stupidity!
