“Chuunibyo” Moeblob Magazine Artwork

Sep 11, 2012 @ 13:48 CDT

Chuunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai’s leading moeblobs are given some prominence within a recent magazine artwork – an illustration in which the finest point seems to lie with the background of arcane patterns.

It’s been long established that the character designs are tired, no differently than how a significant slab of the plot appears – however, there does remain a slight glimmer of possibility for the best in this series through the meager amounts of supernatural combat action which this illustration manages to give something of a sampling of. A worthwhile detail to contemplate is whether any of the magic circles are meaningful drawings – or merely scribbles. Then again, since this is foremost a romantic slice of life, the answer is unfortunately obvious.
