Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua’s full OP segment, animated brilliantly by Ufotable, has been previewed during an assembly and is now essentially available in all its splendor – outstanding as any would anticipate.
The sequence is currently online for those with NicoNico accounts, or alternatively below with a copyright obliterated soundtrack – and proves a thrilling watch as it portrays the many memorable characters of Fate/Stay Night, now in a manner which actually does justice towards their existence. Unlike the current Fate/Stay Night anime, the sheer atmosphere of this game’s OP truly encompasses an individual within it as if indeed, this is the next stage – and this is what Fate/Zero has led up to.

If the story is still the same, then no matter how gorgeous Ufotable renders this, it will still be 100 levels below Fate/Zero. Everything about the story screams generic shounen pablum – genki main lead, harem setting, etc, etc.

I agree with you there actually – it’s nice that Fate/Stay Night is now a better continuation of Fate/Zero than the previous visual novels or anime, although it’s still just as you’ve said.

Haha Fate/Zero was just that good. Fate/stay night isn’t bad by any means (Well, the VN at least. The anime was OK), but I do agree Fate/Zero is better.

Nasu said he had no choice to incorporate those because during those times, it was what the audiences was looking for in other words, those kind of things sells. And Fate/Zero had it easy since it’s linear unlike F/SN which had 3 branching routes. And no! Ataraxia >>> Fate/Zero by 10000 levels ;)

And once again, even in the openings, “Fate” loses to the other routes(opinionated). Now, I can’t wait for one with proper quality.
