Pre-release imagery of Yuru Yuri’s upcoming 11th episode in the second season is now available – evidently showing Akkari’s siscon bishoujo sister to be seemingly joining the activities of the Amusement Club.
The events exhibited by the imagery don’t correlate into any single scenario too coherently – how standing before a closet leads up to Akkarin’s sister being at school with the seitokai president, only to be followed by a scene of teary eyes, doesn’t make much sense by default.
On an individual frame basis however, it becomes somewhat clear – the waterworks at the end look reminiscent to a sight expected when someone is going away, and also note how Akkarin seemingly is not present. Going back to the scene of where she looks troubled amidst the night, whilst her sister sleeps beside her, it’s possible she’s been informed she’s moving away or something similar – and this would also explain the reason her sister is at school.
Assuming Akkarin is indeed taking a trip off to wherever, it could be that her sister is sharing the news – and the tears are the subsequent response, everyone apparently having cared for the invisible protagonist Akkarin more than what most would have thought. Now even if such a theory proves true however, it remains questionable whether this series would actually blot out a character – and so abruptly as well.
More than likely, this is merely another ridiculous gag impending.

第１１話 時をかけるあかり
あらすじでははじめまして、あかりのお姉ちゃんをやってる赤座あかねです。
アニメも２期になってせっかく登場できたっていうのに、あと２回で終わるなんてちょっと残念。
でも、あかりの登場シーンは全部まとめて編集してあるし、ブルーレイもＤＶＤも全巻予約済みだから安心ね。
サブタイトルでもうわかっちゃうと思うから言うけど、今回、なんとあかりは過去の世界に行ってしまうの。もう、過去に行くなんてあかりってば本当におっちょこちょいさんなんだから。けどまあ、そういうところが可愛いのよね。
お姉ちゃんが応援してるから頑張るのよ、あかり。いつ、どこでも、あかりのこと見守っているからね。うふふ。
Episode 11 – The Akari Who Leapt Through Time
The outline is starting, I’m Akari’s older sister, Akaza Akane.
Even though season 2 has been my long awaited appearance, it’s too bad that there’s only 2 more episodes until it’s over.
However, I have managed to compile all of Akari’s scenes. I have all the Blu-Ray and DVD volumes, so there’s nothing to worry about.
From the title, you can probably figure out what’s going to happen. This time, Akari someone ends up in the world of the past. Geez, Akari is such a scatterbrain, going to the past and all that. Well, I guess that sort of thing is kind of cute.
Your sister is always doing her best to help you, Akari. Wherever you are and whenever, I’ll always watch over you. Ufufu.
