An elemental workshop.

Sword Art Online’s first and second manga volume have made a recent debut – managing to reveal the events of the upcoming episode in a mode of artwork even worse than that of the petty animation.

Rather than the light novel, one has to wonder if Sword Art Online’s televised variant is based after the manga series as such a correlation appears far more relatable to one another – completely awful character designs, with generally lacking visuals, and one panel action scenes. Yet nonetheless, if the manga is indeed an appropriate indicator of expectation, it looks that Kirito will indeed lose the upcoming battle – and seemingly in no more than one frame at that.

    • Seven says:

What manga did you read? A legitimate question. There’s multiple installments.

wow the manga has shit art. then the 2nd half of my statement is true then, that’s not the 1st battle with heathcliff, the one that’s coming up. probably the second one.

side question, why do you keep blogging about this show if you hate it so much?

        • Seven says:

A general question “Why do you keep reading my Sword Art Online articles if they’re not to your liking?”

There’s many an answer, although here’s one for your question:

The ride is enjoyable. Just from my own experience on this site Seven and I have enjoyed Nisemono, and shared some of the same joys. Same goes for Oreimo, and a host of others.

With that in mind I wonder if Seven is watching the same SAO that I am. Cause I have enjoyed it immensely.

But, I am enjoying the conversation with someone I disagree with.

Besides, asking Seven to throttle back? Why would you want that?

            • avatar balls says:

didn’t ask him to throttle anything back. i mainly follow this site because of the previews so few sites post them. i posted originality because i want sure that it was the manga since the fight didn’t happen like in the pic before realizing that its not the right fight
i enjoy SAO too but i would agree with seven that most of it sucked so far. Eps 2-7 were all side stories that i don’t care about and a terrible way to introduce new comers to the series

            • Seven says:

“With that in mind I wonder if Seven is watching the same SAO that I am.”

I could ask you the same, it’s terrible as far as I’ve seen – but if you like it, the end.

You know those people who watch pundits on TV just so they can nod their head and go “Yeah… Yeah, he’s right!… Yeah…”? Apparently the ignorance goes beyond politics – if you, in general, just want to indulge in media that reflects your own views, you may want to stop and reassess your life, cause you’re not going very far.

“Besides, asking Seven to throttle back? Why would you want that?”

              I don’t do requests anyways.

The drawing style feels too amateur and it looks like it was drawn by a 8-year old with poor manga skills.

    • Seven says:

It fits with the story very well.

      • misao93 says:

If it was a doujin, it’s fine, but as a official manga adaptation to the Aincrad arc, I simply don’t like it at all. I wish it could have been done with a better art.

the manga sucks for everyone – end
the anime suck for someone while others like it – end
the light novel is good – end

he is the protagonist and we’re not in dragonball where people ress on a whim, so simply, he wont die even if he’s killed.

      • Seven says:

“the anime suck for someone while others like it – end”

I think it’s more like “the anime suck for others while someone like it – end”.

        “the light novel is good”

At this point, it’s hard to be sure.

It’s the same artstyle the decade of 60!

    Best. Art. Ever.

  • gargamesh says:

This is just like the author, he allowed the adaptation on a crappy studio, why not on a crappy artist?

  • avatar flamestrike says:

Wow, that’s so bad it’s not even funny. Seriously, it’s like a bad doujin level of art. No, relating that to doujin art would be in an insult since some artists are really good. This is just so terrible… there aren’t even any backgrounds. Is this seriously a panel from an official SAO manga??

    • gargamesh says:

“Is this seriously a panel from an official SAO manga??”

If you have seen how horrible the anime is, this completely follows it in perfection

  • lucarion says:

So bad it’s not even funny…DAMMIT IT REKI! WHY!?

  • Anonymous says:

I have the perfect solution for anyone who doesn’t like Seven’s “criticism” of Sword Art Online….. don’t read the posts about SAO. There, problem solved.

Seriously though, whether you like it or hate it. All that matters is how you feel about it. Just because someone else talks trash about it, doesn’t make it true. Even if they feel that there opinion is the actual reality. Though this is coming from someone who is enjoying the anime, and even I have to admit that Sword Art Online has a lot of faults. Though I can look past those faults and just enjoy it for what it is. Now whether you guys decide to do the same, or get bogged down by others opinions is up to you.

    • Seven says:

What you’re missing though is people who ignore the many, many faults of Sword Art Online and try to view that perfected image they have in their mind as reality.

    • gargamesh says:

“Just because someone else talks trash about it, doesn’t make it true.”

Unless if the trash talk are actually true

  • Everytime I think I’m into watching a good series, it goes down the drain.
What happen to this one? It was soppost to be the best one of the season.

And that’s some intense battle right there.
