Now on key visual 73, the K-Project turns explosive with a scene pulled straight from the animation featuring a silhouette of a man, likely the leather jacket wearer, standing amidst total chaos and calamity.
Recalling the assorted PVs and other key visuals, one can solidly make the presumption that this fellow seen here is Mikoto – the leader of Homra, the fireblazing street gang. And that being said, this sort of complete devastation and destruction is surely the exhilarating display for which most connoisseurs of animation thrive eagerly like sadistic monsters – yet indeed, blazing fury is quite a fine manner to make exhibit of exquisite animation and aesthetics.
Not to mention, such a sight also means something monumental is taking place – this is surely no petty brawl on the sidewalk. One would like to insinuate that when a character summons a raging inferno that fills the screen, it’s not just for decoration. Also note, these flames are a searing mixture of white, blue, and violet – indicating fire far hotter than the sun.
Another point of contemplation at this point is first of all, what exactly would incite such a ferocious wrath – then subsequently, one would also like to wonder how exactly the blue crew manages to survive through such assaults, assuming they actually do, and what is it they have to defend themselves against such force.
Of all the K-Project imagery to be unveiled thus far, this is perhaps the most enticing in terms of spurring some enthusiasm for this upcoming anime series – and hopefully, disappointment is nowhere at the end of the tunnel.
