An elemental workshop.

With its latest two key visuals, the K-Project shares the sight of some interactions within some sort of educational institution – centering around seifuku clad characters instead of the usual gang members.

Above, the frame appears taken direct from the anime, as is the case with nearly all recent visuals – and the display is essentially the typical scene when someone, most often a female, is wearing something they believe embarrassing. Rather than that however, more interesting is how this girl has any relevance to the series to begin with – where does a seifuku clad female gain purpose within a battle of unusual organizations, and what exactly is the story behind this government militia branch which seemingly runs its own private prison and instructional establishment.

One can presume that the crew of two who seem to be tasked with protecting Neko, both of whom are foremost leading characters, likely have some level of mild interaction with others at this apparent academy building. Every series needs its side-characters after all, and as the faction oriented individuals, fireblazer and blue crew member alike, all seem heavily significant, these seifuku characters do the job quite well.

Not to mention, since they seem to be all female, they can assist Neko in providing the ever-necessary female fanfare.

Essentially, these girls make for overall another reason to be eager for the K-Project.
