A few new key visuals of Nerawareta Gakuen have become available – each, for some reason, showing some significantly changed appearances of the film’s leading male and female alike, a near total revision.
Comparing to the key visuals originally released some time ago, one must question if these latest illustrations even come from the same artist – focusing on the heroine for instance, the lines were originally more modest. The lines in the first key visual of the heroine would keep together as they traveled vertically – and one could even say they were rather stiff. Looking at the heroine as seen above however, the fluidity practically spills off the canvas.
The line looks as if eager, albeit not necessarily ecstatic – it’s a very clean and fast-moving line, with curves delicate as if traveling serenely in the wind. Whilst her lower body formerly seemed quite lifeless, this key visual introduces a more expressive pose – and to the tune of some immense vigor.
Now from the waist area on upward, the line appears truly rather energetic – defining the bust to look quite “perky”, with the surrounding shoulders, back arch, and visage, all showcasing a spirited attitude as well.
As side-note, one can see of the many results of a more vitalized line, this female has seemingly become more attractive – particularly as relevant areas are now more visually captivating since they’re brought forward in a fashion far more enticing. It’s not necessarily a challenge to best an illustration which is coarse and lifeless if the subject matter is intended to be a female human.
In any case, all things summarized, these key visuals are definitely looking much superior – and they’re perhaps either a revised, or later stage appearance of the two leading characters of this film, or simply an alternative look which the two will sport when the film gets further in-depth. It’s not unlikely that a movie may have a total turnaround point which would see a still lifestyle become something rather extravagant instead.

As much as I LOVE the character design, since they got supercell to do the theme, I think that it might have been better if they got huke or redjuice to do the character designs. Still, no complaints here.
