It’s everyone’s favorite time of the month, a new chapter of To Love-Ru Darkness has again debuted – and this time, it brings with it erotic matsuri antics, including kimono malfunctions and the usual pantsu.
To bring up disagreement against the love of 2-D girls would be quite silly, as surely, all of us here admire them more than much else – however, not necessarily a complaint, but rather a point of ponder, one must contemplate how the majority of the otaku populace never tire of seeing the same girls, in positions all so identical, legs lifted upward as usual, equipped with the same cotton white pantsu as ever, complete with the typical tentacles, questionable fluids, and noface-kuns.
After so many chapters, it seems only logical that eventually, at some point or another, these girls who’ve become pregnant several instances over would begin to prove less appealing to the eye.
Of course however, such is not the case – and still do the otaku rave over the same cotton pantsu, bishoujo legs lifted in the air, excessive tomatoe blushing, and whatnot. It’s all more of the same – with the outfits, setting, and other extra decorations changing every now and then, underwear even remaining untouched, perhaps save for an occasional ribbon or line of frill here and there.
Indeed, it’s not difficult to see why To Love-Ru is quite a riot, nor is it much anything to complain about – yet curiosity still drives at how the single formula works so effectively for a period which is seemingly indefinitely.
