Robotics;Notes has received a second PV – subsequently managing, if anything, to look even worse then before as the visuals are still banal, the series itself hasn’t too impressive a story, and no promise exists.
A ringing eloquent charm emerges from silence as one initiates the video below – the melody is indeed lovely, although the visuals are truly all the contrary. The first few seconds of video clip are far too bright – and upon the scene of the class assembled, the sight screams generic. It’s also not particularly impressive that the scenes are lifeless – with the camera panning horizontally across in PowerPoint, or rather Sword Art Online fashion.
The visuals are lacking in that they’re not well-designed to begin with – the heroine has been withered to look like a twin sister of the loli waitress from Working!!, yet the true horror, as if the devastatingly awful character designs are not cringe inducing enough, is how the animation is seemingly incredibly stiff. Motion is minimal – the scenes have no vitality whatsoever, and other reasons for this is that the backgrounds are bleak, the color palette selection is dull, and there’s merely nothing to praise aesthetically.
Particularly noticeable around mid-way, one has to question if the voices are even in accurate sync with the mouths of the characters. Nonetheless, one aspect certain is that this upcoming anime series looks rather on par with vomit at best – unfortunate as it is.
At this rate, perhaps in another five years, Production IG will at least managed to meet 1990′s caliber of animation.

Looking pretty interesting to me.

WTH is this? Angelic Layer’s copy?
Aug 31, 2012 @ 23:36 CDT
It’s actually Medabots with a bit of Megaman Battle Network.

With a bit of PowerPoint and MS Paint for effect and visuals.

Don’t expect too much from this…
When I started the VN I hoped I get something near Steins;Gate quality, but if I gave that a 9/10, this is 7/10 at most… there are some good things in it, but overall the story isn’t that great, nor the characters.

Most people looking forward to the anime haven’t played the visual novel – the visual novel was weak, and that’s about as grand as it gets. The anime already looks terrible – so I don’t even want to know how horrible it ends up.

The animation looks terrible indeed, but I’m still looking foward to this.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 2:01 CDT
Did I just get a 70′s vibe from this?
Sep 1, 2012 @ 3:02 CDT
Well, it looks worse than Steins;Gate, but I don’t know if it’s worse than another pile of garbage (that was also planned to air this fall) named Code;Breaker however (as they were both godawful to begin with).

Are you all retarded, what do you expect, pigtits or something else. Sorry, then you have to watch Dakara shit an something or Highschool Deep x shit. How can you badmouth an Anime you already don’t have seen. A pair of PV don’t show the full potential of an Anime.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 8:57 CDT
Your comment is hilarious.
Your mind is so askew and twisted that you think since a majority here feels a poorly done animation is poorly done, it means they were expecting something with female fanfare.
“A pair of PV don’t show the full potential of an Anime.”
The PV has been released, “PV” stands for “preview video” – and this PV happens to show some lacking animation, poor visuals and character designs, and it’s all coming from a studio who have last released the catastrophe which is Shining Hearts. If you’re ignoring these prevalent characteristics, that’s your problem.

I agree – looking forward to this anime though this pv is “horrible” I just care about the storyline what matters is how will the anime starts and how will the anime end. To me, the preview is just a teaser trailer for the upcoming anime releasing in October. Many are of course, looking forward to this episode. I think the character designs are good. I give it a rate of 7/10. But anyways, the background music sure sounds entertaining.

“looking forward to this anime though this pv is “horrible” I just care about the storyline what matters is how will the anime starts and how will the anime end”
i laugh at your foolishness since the pv’s of series’ shows what to expect throughout it, but you don’t seem to get even that.
“I think the character designs are good. I give it a rate of 7/10″
seriously, how dude, the characters look more stale than a piece of bread left outside for a day, also that guy in the mask & those robot fights (if you could even call those fights) put the final nail in the coffin,
i seriously was also looking forward to this but after seeing terrible visual after visual, it seems that this has become a series that ultimately failed before it even started

That’s your personal opinion. Not even a million of people who will watch this anime will say the visuals sucks.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 12:33 CDT
There’s a difference between personal opinion and reality – saying “that’s your opinion” as a response to everything because you don’t actually comprehend the technical concepts behind them is your own fault.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 18:15 CDT
this is gonna be another chaos;HEAd failure
Sep 1, 2012 @ 20:37 CDT
Worse than that probably.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 23:35 CDT
steins;gate was probably the only one of the three better
Sep 2, 2012 @ 0:11 CDT
At this rate, I hope they don’t make a fourth. Enough is enough, time to move onto a new project.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 23:35 CDT
“That’s your personal opinion. Not even a million of people who will watch this anime will say the visuals sucks.”
yes, because not even a million people will watch this
Sep 2, 2012 @ 0:12 CDT
Ownage.
Sep 2, 2012 @ 10:31 CDT
The visual aren’t bad at all, in my opinion they are better than the ones in Stains;Gate and Stains;Gate was a success so everything comes down to how the story is delivered and developed.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 17:03 CDT
At least they make opening garage doors look interesting.
Sep 1, 2012 @ 20:37 CDT
Innovation.
Sep 19, 2012 @ 4:10 CDT
Please stop comparing this to Steins;Gate. Also, try to research more about Robotics;Notes before calling it as a “failure”.
