“Sword Art Online” Ninth Episode PV

Aug 29, 2012 @ 6:36 CDT

A preview clip is available for the next upcoming episode of Sword Art Online – and indeed, as usual, it seems the subsequent chapter is simply another mess, a terrible attempt at an action packed scenario.

The episode prior to this one upcoming featured clichéd romance antics, complete with oppai fondling, all the way up until perhaps the last minute of the episode – where suddenly, the two leading characters magically found themselves in front of the domain of a boss-level monster. And watching this PV below, it seems that now whilst standing before a colossal hostile creature, the two leading characters are somehow going to find the time to recruit some help and enjoy themselves a bit before they initiate their awkward contention against the beast.

Apparently, gigantic monsters fight chivalrously with blades within Sword Art Online – the episode is feeling ridiculous already and it hasn’t even begun. Either way however, the ending is already more than obvious – the overpowered protagonist is going to use his slideshow attack, or any number of other made up on the spot instant-kill techniques which he seemingly acquired as per his natural birthright of being a protagonist.

All of that aside, one has to wonder if this battle will even lead to anything meaningful at the end of it – or if it will merely be more of the same usual recycled route once all is said and done.

And so, following the schedule, the series will be embarrassing itself for the ninth time in a few days.

Half the PV is wasted on showing the same scenes from the last ep…
But of course, it already has a reputation for wasting screentime.

  • Repetitive..generic..boring…zero development..in short..going the Accel World Way..

I’ve lost faith in the world, Seven.
I’m scanning through forums where people were actually praising, yes praising, this show’s chronological broadcast. Given a choice between a chronological broadcast and skipping to last week’s episode, the idiots say they prefer the series as is!! And they’re patting themselves on the back about it!! I’m likening this to the mob mentality of star wars fans back in ’99 when they convinced themselves that the phantom menace was a great movie!!

It’s fine to like something despite it not being particularly high on the quality scale – although if you know something is lacking and you refuse to recognize it, then you’re lying to yourself subconsciously, and essentially, you’re crazy.
