With seven more days, it’s another week of nothing – generic harems still litter the viewing schedule, little worthy of attention was unveiled, and in terms of what there is to look forward to, all remains weeks away.
Seven Day Summary:
It’s an incredibly slow week – which is unsurprising as such weeks usually come with the latter stretch of every anime season. There’s not much truly worth mentioning, at all – although to forcibly select out a few more interesting subjects, some fine artwork in the form of Code Geass character designs, a scantily provocative manga series, and an imouto incest eroge, were gratuitously made public over this last seven day span.
For something less aesthetically pleasing, a figure has become available of Mirai Nikki’s deranged yandere character – and on another note of dwindling aesthetics, Nisemonogatari’s donut shop has been watered down on Blu-ray. And as for another Nisemonogatari matter, the Blu-ray happens to boast the final fight uncensored.
The K-Project’s key visual effort has recently been much more interesting than the norm – particularly with some seifukus and street cleaning robots.
And for the usual random mentions, Fate/Zero still looks quite splendid with megane, Minami-Ke seems ready for all kinds of things, and a pair of rather interest relevant artbooks are coming soon.
Contests:
Although there’s two currently ongoing contests, the winner is practically decided already in both of them as not more than one person is putting up much effort in either. Just as a reminder, $2 USD equates to a lot of things at SeventhStyle. Also, it doesn’t take much to win Haganai volume one.
Upcoming:
Madoka Magica
IMO-Bilizer!
Code:Breaker
Tsukimonogatari
Shoujo Shin’iki ~ Shoujo Tengoku -The Garden of Fifth Zoa-
The iDOLM@STER Shiny Festa
Minami-Ke

I was looking forward to a ‘Sword Art Online – Now With Obligatory Oppai Fondling’ today.

I fell asleep while writing about it – watching the episode disgusted me, and it was too terrible to bother with any more. I might put the effort next week.

I went ahead and wrote about it, would be a shame to pass up a good opportunity to ridiculous an awful anime series:

Seven, which anime are you most looking forward too in the upcoming season?

OniAi.
Silver Link always gets priority over everything because they’re vastly superior, in terms of potential among other things, to every other anime studio – and they even surpass Ufotable when it comes to aesthetics and animation. And if you’ve read the first volume of OniAi, you’d at least have a general idea of the story – knowing that it’s certainly no typical harem series at all.
SHAFT and Ufotable are certainly sitting at the pinnacle of excellence, although “potential” is a term which represents ability to excel.
I’d have Magi higher, although A-1 Pictures isn’t very good with action series it seems – and the K-Project’s repetitive key visuals make it questionable, as does the fact that studio GoHands’ last work was Asa Made Jugyou Chu.
