An elemental workshop.

Blu-ray volume five of Nisemonogatari, the final of the set, is finally stirring – and this allows one to now witness the conclusive battle between Shurararagi, and strange older women, in its uncensored sadistic form.

To the left is the sight as seen on optical media, meanwhile, to the right is the televised airing – and indeed, the TV variant was truly babied down to meet all manner of public regulation. The full uncut rendition of this fight contains instances of flesh tearing apart, blood gushing everywhere, internal organs being molested, and a display overall rather vomit inducing from the sheer grotesque nature of it all.

And of course, all that brutality occurs merely upon Arararagi – a painful endeavor indeed.

The contention seemed quite sickening when it aired censored on television – yet to witness it unrestricted as seen here, it truly looks that the elder woman wasn’t holding back whatsoever. In any normal circumstance, obviously, Shuraragi would be more than dead following the pounding he received – he’d have been totally desecrated upon his grave. And while the woman did offer some warnings beforehand, she’s apparently true to her word – and rather heartless at that.

In any case however, one can at least find respite in knowing that the ending is most favorable.
