With the arrival of key visual 57, the K-Project yet again places its emphasis upon the western smoker – hair blonde as usual, nicotine present as well, and sunglasses still prominent as ever, an almost typical image.
Interesting here is how the fellow is not standing in front of “The City Beer Hall”, Homra – rather, one may actually be able to recall that this is a scene also showcased momentarily within the first PV ever unveiled, and as is clearly apparent, instead of the typical bar, he seems to be taking it easy within a lesser district of the city.
Note how the colors are abnormal – this character’s neckpiece for instance looks to have a bluish glow obscuring the vivid crimson which it appears under normal circumstances. And similarly, the other articles of his attire are afflicted as well – the lighting in the area is unusual, and this means the place where he stands is one which is rather peculiar in itself. Now the question becomes why the fellow would go out of his way to stand in this place away from home – surely this means there’s a reason, and the interest lies in whatever it may be.
He may be meeting someone – although either way, whatever the case, he’s clearly got something heavy on his mind, as does seemingly everyone else in this series.
It’s basically nothing but another tier in this tale of complications.
