“Happy Birthday!” Ritsu From K-ON!

Aug 20, 2012 @ 12:36 CDT

Today, otaku celebrate the birthday of their favorite light music band moeblob, the energetic and quite ripe Ritsu Tainaka of K-ON! – and they do so, of course, in the usual obsessive and overly extravagant manner.

As most of us should already know, it certainly wouldn’t be the birthday of a 2-D anime character without enough pizzazz and appreciation to make her feel as if she were more important than even a “real human”. With figures and imagery, this second dimensional rockband member is worshiped more so than either a goddess, or a queen, on her fictional day of birth – and as one can see, the otaku truly put everything into their demented compulsions, bring strict in putting forth the utmost effort for the birthday of their beloved make-believe character.
