An elemental workshop.

With audio of a heavy tone, and visuals submerged in a dark obscurity, a PV has come for Hellsing’s 10th and final OVA episode – a spectacle which certainly seems to be boiling with insanity, grotesque action, and all.

Everything is truly engulfed in a layer of solid gloom – one can’t help but be hit with how flashy the visuals appear in the video below as result of the aphotic atmosphere making even the slightest instance of color glimmer forward brilliantly. There’s not many hues prevalent, all is literally surrounded by pitch black, yet the colors which are to be seen are indeed quite vivid – fire blazing relentlessly for instance, or blood of a sanguine which shines.

Characters consist of intensely bright shapes of color, with heavy blocks of shadow placed over – finalized with thick and rough lines grinding against it all for outline and emphasis. It’s a mode of art clearly quite grunge and unconventional – which while inciting of a more distraught feeling, still looks fantastic paired alongside the incredibly fluid motions and movements.

This finale of Hellsing Ultimate seems to be a certainly explosive ending – with everything in sight being terrorized by scorching fire and other horrific trauma, blood pouring near endlessly, and grotesque violence unfolding as if it were a common sight. However, that may actually be no different than any other episode of the Hellsing series – Ultimate or otherwise. Nonetheless, the intensity is certainly at an all-time high.

Volume 10 of Hellsing Ultimate will debut at the end of this upcoming November – and after so many years, this vampiric tale of Nazis and world destruction will finally meet some much deserved closure.
