An elemental workshop.

Whilst most eroge aren’t even putting forth the effort to innovative, upcoming bishoujo game “Witch’s Garden” is set on revolutionizing ero-gaming with its “E-mote” technology – now demoed in a third PV.

As seen in earlier preview clips, this “E-mote” feature brings much vitality and life to the characters – and contrary to what thoughts may initially come to strike, it’s definitely not a gimmick. As the game progresses, the characters react to the scene as it unfolds – and depending on what exactly is occurring, they respond differently, doing this realistically through a portrayal of emotion.

Programming a second dimensional character to say something is not spectacular these days – however, making such a character dynamically act is indeed quite astonishing.

Sentiments are not a one-sided part of life – and this means they’re exhibited through a whole collective of communication elements. The marvel in “E-mote” is that it captures this – or stated more simply, it makes the characters provide feedback non-verbally, alongside the usual voice acting and text.

Body language accounts for a near entirety of what individuals perceive when interacting with others – thus, this definitely is a substantial addition to any game. And of course, in the case of eroge specifically, focus on the constitution is certainly quite crucial for obvious reasons. In fact, the preview clip splendidly manages to showcase the benefits of “E-mote” – subsequently allowing one to see simply how much more engaging it makes the presentation of the game, among other things.

A while still remains till the launch of this much awaited title – yet the reward will be worth the patience indeed.
