“Polyphonica” Lolis Come To Life

Polyphonica has a vastly expansive world as is, yet the series is simply growing further – a sound drama has been unveiled as upcoming for the currently ongoing Kantoku flavor, Polyphonica Aphonic Songbird.

To debut Winter 2012, it’s not as grand as an animation, and it’s unfortunate that this particular branch of Polyphonica does not focus on the crimson annihilating cute loli, Corticarte, however a sound drama is still something to be excited for indeed – especially in the case of Polyphonica as the series is one which is usually restricted to novels of all form. In the most favorable turn of events, an animation will eventually come the way of the many eager otaku hoping to see more crimson annihilation on their televisions and pirated content viewing devices everywhere.

Although keeping focus upon Aphonic Songbird, an animation of this series would indeed be quite interesting – especially as Kantoku has suddenly become a name known overnight for his character designs, and also given that several animations are set to soon arrive boasting his skill.

Yet returning to the matter of a sound drama, the most curious question in this case is of course what cast will be selected to play the many crucial roles – such will definitely be vital as it would subsequently have a major impact on how the character is portrayed. Also significant however, one must wonder what exactly is it that will transpire within the sound drama – it could be strictly the frivolous bits, or perhaps some more serious developments, if not a mixture of the two. Either way however, to imagine it all playing out to voice alone, it’d be quite a feat if successful.

As with anything of the “Polyphonica” name, this is certainly something to look forward to.
