Key visual 53 of the K-Project is an illustration surprisingly potent in the various implications it contains – as well as the very scene it portrays, a meeting of man against his enemy, regardless of what perspective.
This scene is indeed something quite fascinating – the leader of Homra, the fireblazers who act as an adversary towards the blue crew, is seemingly standing before his counterpart of that very faction. Whilst the leather jacket wearing Mikoto stands facing away from our view, towards us we can see the one from the blue crew who certainly is doubtful to be open to reasoning – it’s the confident megane fellow who has a particular interest in the so-called “Sword of Damocles”. Then again, it should be mentioned that Mikoto is not necessarily friendly either.
Now while this is indeed a meeting of foes, it doesn’t look that fists are flying anywhere – the two seem to have caught sight of one another, and perhaps, this is simply the proverbial stare down of conflicting forces before the hurricane rages in.
Although it’s also possible, of course, that no fight is awaiting – while the blonde bishoujo is the leader of the blue crew in rank, it seems that this megane fellow seen here is truly the seasoned veteran of them all as other PVs and images have made clear. That in mind, both this megane charatcer, as well as Mikoto, are two rather levelheaded individuals – or so their appearance does imply, and it could be that they’re merely having a discussion of some specific matters, and more than likely, odd powers.
Forgetting those recycled visuals of past, the K-Project does certainly still strike many a tune.
