SHAFT has made the “Magical Suite Prism Nana” PV, which debuted at Comiket 82, now available in full moe – meaning one can now listen to the theme song, and glare at the mahou shoujos, without any distractions.
The PV, available below, has already been evaluated by any self-respecting otaku – although it’s certainly fine to experience it yet again, now unhindered and without any distorting elements acting on the video. In fact, it’s only now that one may come to realize how addictively cute the tune playing alongside the video seems to be – and not to mention, how rhytmic the video itself seems in general, with vibrations matching visuals quite spot on.
As one can now more closely examine the clip, and forgetting the characters for a second since they’re obviously cute and whatnot, the many backgrounds and relevant elements are interestingly abstract – they’re not consistent in style, rather, they look to differ quite greatly on a per scene basis. For instance, just a few seconds into the start of the clip, it looks as if there’s a hand-drawn backdrop – yet then continuing along from there, the scenes become reminiscent of something from a storybook, and a few after that are an outright mixture of unconventional patterns.
It’s expected that with Kantoku involvement, the artwork would be marvelous – although nonetheless, the PV still comes off as quite abnormal, albeit for the better. The video portrays an animation which feels very free-flowing – and the atmosphere is, of course, rather one of a kind.
A release date is still unknown – yet indeed, the sensation is starting already it seems.

Seems like a kids show to me(or a anime for 30-year old virgins). Unless it pulls a Madoka, which I doubt.

You don’t seem to be a very seasoned otaku.

I was just joking around actually, what I mean is that this isn’t the type of stuff I like, even with the weird touch that Shaft will obviously give it.

In that case, I’m quite with you. It certainly doesn’t look bad – although it doesn’t seem to have much to it either, besides moe girls that is.

You can’t be judgmental against lolis.

You very well can be. I wouldn’t. But you can be. It just depends on how much risk you are willing to take. A cornered loli is a dangerous loli.
