Some key visuals, ranging from seifuku to topless, have been released of “Koi-ken!” – an original net animation, now confirmed for a run on AT-X, as well as a complete Blu-ray release later this month, the 24th.
Koi-ken’s short anime series is based after a similarly titled dating simulator game for mobile phones – and the story revolves around a specific group of individuals, all of whom are female and within the same club of romance studies, “Koi-Ken”. The protagonist is an expendable male who gets pulled into the usual zero to hero, instant harem ordeal which is popular amongst horrible anime series.
As this series is based around a dating simulator, let alone a mobile game, one truly shouldn’t have expected much of it to begin with – thus there’s little reason to feel bothered. The plot is most definitely sub-par, as is any other given element of the series, and the character designs are certainly bland as well.
These fresh visuals do quite well to make apparent the remedial state of the animation as the series seemingly depends on excess breast emphasis to aide in pushing its generic bishoujo characters. And on another note, the illustration itself appears rather dry in terms of artistic qualities – lacking in shadow, color, line, and essentially anything else which may come to mind and otherwise.
All in all, it’s a collective of the half-decent – now set to soon debut in another format.

And here we go again…

I liked the artwork but it was too lacking of details unfortunately (those two pics looks better when used on episodes rather than standalone artworks). On the other hand, original net anime titles aren’t too popular.

Nothing about this series is particularly average to begin with.
