A site has launched for the “Penguinbear Project“, carrying a name and style aspects identical to a certain other work – as apparently, it’s the latest creation upcoming from Mawaru Penguindrum’s mastermind.
Aside from the name, there’s no details available at all – although do know, Kunihiko Ikuhara is the one responsible for Mawaru Penguindrum, and this is seemingly his next work, as aforementioned. Now also note, the official site for this ambiguous, and bound to be abstract, “Penguinbear Project” happens to have been crafted by Wataru Osakabe – a fellow who played in a role in the production of those pair of abstractly exquisite opening sequences of Mawaru Penguindrum, among a few other elements of the series.
Essentially, it looks like the A-Team is getting together for another round of mind-numbing animation.

What does that line of text on the site say?
Aug 12, 2012 @ 11:53 CDT
It says “Don’t get lost in the transparent storm. Find /it/.”
By “it” it’s referencing something else that’s not the storm, so another translation could be “Don’t lose yourself in the storm. Find what you’re looking for” or something to that sentiment.

oh no, not this time. First I get tricked into believing there was loli wincest and when I let that go we get some weird ending.

Hmm, Ikuhara rarely does sequels. Some are calling it a hoax. I hope it isn’t, given that PenguinDrum was the second best anime of 2011. :)

The site seems legit to me.
