Robotics;Notes’ upcoming animation has received a short TV commercial, providing a speedy overview of the lacking animation and heroine’s annoying voice – doing well to incite nothing in wake of the anime series.
There’s no particularly impressive or captivating detail to be found within this short video, yet one aspect to specifically note in terms of disappointment is how the visuals are not very sharp to begin with – an aspect which only makes their degree of obscurity higher than usual when the scene is transpiring in the dark, especially since this series doesn’t seem to take an interest in flashy nighttime visuals in the manner of Ghost in The Shell.

I like the sang playing on the background.
The voice sure is annoying, just a little, as for the preview, is nothing we hadn’t already seen in visuals/images.

Looks like the anime will faithfully follow the VN’s storyline, but still, I worry too much to become another failure like Chaos;Head and prefer something to be a success like Steins;Gate, though the visuals are unimpressive at best.

OMG THE VISUALS SUCK THEREFORE BAD ANIME!

I realize cognition isn’t your greatest strength – although let me share some of my own reasons as to why this anime is not promising, under the hopes that you may, perhaps, have the adequate reading level, and necessary comprehension ability, to understand.
Visual novel adaptation + lacking visuals + studio already with a track record of failure + sci-fi series which has already failed once in the past in animated form
Not to mention, the Robotics;Notes story isn’t very great to begin with.
And lastly, this may shock you, but “anime” is short for “animation” – which revolves around visuals, meaning it is indeed substantial.
On another note, the term “visuals” refers to multiple aspects – but that topic might be too advanced for you for now.

I’ve watched plenty of great anime with shitty animation/visuals. I enjoy your posts but when you write off an anime just because of some key visuals/CM’s, it pisses me off. The studio handling this has proven to be good with non-original adaptations, so no worries there, just a bunch of butthurt people because it’s not White Fox(which is stupid, because R;N has the same person in charge of the series composition as S;G on it).
Besides, the fluidity here on the animation looks AWESOME, the only thing that is bad is the character designs. On this case, the action scenes are more important, and Production I.G is a studio I completely trust to achieve fluidity on action/mecha scenes.
Also, just a reminder, Steins;Gate had inferior visuals than the VN, which pissed off many people, but it was an awesome anime nevertheless.

“but when you write off an anime just because of some key visuals/CM’s, it pisses me off.”
That was already addressed:

I don’t point out everything every article because I don’t write for a target audience that needs to be treated like kindergartners – I’m sure you don’t need that either.
“The studio handling this has proven to be good with non-original adaptations”
Shining Hearts is beyond what can be called an “epic failure”. You can look beyond that, but those are 1-3 years old?
“just a bunch of butthurt people because it’s not White Fox(which is stupid, because R;N has the same person in charge of the series composition as S;G on it).”
You’re the only one to mention White Fox here.
“Besides, the fluidity here on the animation looks AWESOME,”
The fluidity on what? This CM doesn’t exhibit anything except some character dialogue segments with music blasting over. Or are you referring to the half second of mecha foot motion at the very end?
“Steins;Gate had inferior visuals than the VN”
The source material does not matter, it never matters:

Regardless of how Steins;Gate looked in comparison to the visual novel, the animation was astounding, the character designs were fresh, and the overall aesthetics were top class, as was the story and otherwise – this isn’t looking to be the case with Robotics;Notes.
